Your profile and privacy settings

What the people you work with see about you, what only you see, and how to download or delete it all.

Your profile

In Account, under Profile, add a picture, pronouns, a headline, a few lines about you, how to reach you and up to 8 strengths. All of it is optional. People in your projects and spaces see it on your profile card, which opens from your name or picture.

Who sees what

Your name: anyone who shares a project or space with you. Your email: the members of your spaces and projects; guests see no one's email but their own. Your working days, quiet hours, time zone and language: only you.

What we store about you

Account lists everything we store about you, filled in with your own data: what it is, who sees it and what it's for. The privacy notice explains each one.

Usage data

We count events like “a project was created” to see whether Belaywork works. Never content, titles or names, and kept 13 months. Switch off Usage data in Account and nothing more is recorded.

Signed-in devices

Account shows each device you're signed in on, with its browser and system and when it was last used, and can sign out the others.

Download or delete

Download your data gives you what's stored about you and what you've added, as one JSON file. Delete account removes your account straight away; files, sources and history you added stay in their projects, without your name.
